"A vote for Bush is a vote for a divided, unstable, paranoid America"

Baby, we were born to run against Bush

More than 20 artists, including Bruce Springsteen, the Dave Matthews Band, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, James Taylor and the Dixie Chicks, announced the launch of a ``Vote For Change'' tour yesterday.

"A vote for Bush is a vote for a divided, unstable, paranoid America,'' Dave Matthews said in one of the more strongly worded statement.

Let's not confuse the issue. A vote for Kerry is also a vote for
a divided, unstable, paranoid America. It's just a different set of
choices about what to be divided, unstable and paranoid about.

Who knows. This election could easily turn into a referendum on
whether the nation favors moral indignation on attacking terrorists
abroad, or moral indignation on the President's slightest indiscretion.

What he didn't mention is that, at this point, a vote for *anybody* is a vote for a divided, unstable, paranoid America. Folks who think that electing a different president is going to change that haven't been paying much attention.

whether 20 artists are sufficient to change the brain structure of the Americans? I am sceptic :-(

Greetings

It makes me glad that I freely downloaded Bruce Springsteen, the Dave Matthews Band, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, James Taylor and the Dixie Chicks and not purchased any of their songs.

I think they are the paranoid ones!
